Hmmm. I'm thinking that the first blog posting must be the hardest because I feel as if I need to update everyone on....well everything. However, as tempting as it sounds to type out my entire life story at a rate of three words a minute, I decided that perhaps I probably should stick with the recent past and present.
Now you are probably wondering why I am speaking in the singular form. Epic TWIN Odysseys right? Twin meaning two. Yes, well as my twin sister and I began our adventure of starting a blog we kind of dragged on the creating part. We were really looking for a kick-butt blog name. We wanted some wicked cool, really long adjective word just to give it edge. Soooo instead of using our brain, we googled "wicked cool words." Yeah, not the most brilliant idea. We prefered not having greek words as our blog name. So after about an hour of looking for a really long, complicated word we decided on.......epic? Yeah. Wrap your mind around that one. It's pronounced "ep" "ic". Its a tough one. I know. Next came the background designer. Let's just say that my counterpart fell asleep before we decided on one. Did you catch the point of that story? Yeah, I'm talking in singular because B fell asleep. I think that was the point I was trying to make.
ANYWAYS. Welcome to our blog! For those of you who do not know us, we're twins (go figure). You'll come to know us as B and C. I would love to share our full names with you, however, all the creeping sketchballs out there are to thank for the ambiguous pen names.
I contemplated jumping right in and sharing one of our summer adventures, however, I'm thinking that might be a bit much for one posting. So instead I will bore you with my present happenings.
I'm sitting in a car. I've been sitting in a car for eight hours. I will be sitting in a car for another seventeen hours. And yes, it's moving. We are on our way to the nifty little state of Tennessee. Yeah we are dropping our parents off at college. It's such a shame to see them leave home. New room. New teachers. New friends. New everything. Glad its not me. Oh wait.... :/
Yup, you guessed it. B and I are off to college. We spent five and a half hours yesterday saying goodbye to everyone in our community. The high school teachers, our friends, the elementary teachers, the elementary kids, our elderly friends, our employers, fellow coworkers. You name em, we saw em. Actually that's a lie. That would be a ridiculous amount of people. Either way, we said our goodbyes. The worst part? Saying goodbye to our best friend V and our older sister CW. We totally knew it was gonna be bad. But this was like realllllyyy bad. I haven't cried so much since.....well two nights ago when I watched Letters To God. But that doesn't count. Well it sort of does. ANYWAYS. Point blank: I cried. A lot. It was bad (I think we've established at least that much).
So yeah. B is awake now so I can't really say all the nasty things I had planned on saying about her. Which is a drag. But whatev. Kidding.
Well I think this just sums up about......1/25 of what I have to say. Stay tuned for more. It'll be epic :)

Please notice the asterisks above. Yeah that means that you can basically disregard all the above nonsense that is above that pretty little asterisk line above. Thats above:\ Wellll now that I've beat you all over the head with the word "above," which by the way was not intentional, I'll introduce myself. With a letter. I'm B. Descriptive, I know. I am the one that fell asleep. All the excitement of spending forty minutes deciding on a background color for this thing was just too much for me so i fell asleep in the middle seat. Yes, it was just the two of us in the back, and yes I chose to ride in the middle seat. It's not weird, you just don't understand. Actually, you may come across a lot of things you don't understand or appreciate on here, because often not many people fully appreciate C and my humor... besides us. Bear with us. Bair with us. Bare with us. Whatev. ANYWAYS. While my twin clearly pointed out the significance of the words "epic" and "twin" in our title, she failed to mention anything about "odysseys." Yes, it is ridiculously hard to spell if you're not familiar with it. It took me three times just now before I caved and looked at the top of the page at our title. Yeah it took us about twenty minutes to find that word. According to dictionary.com, odyssey means, "a long series of wanderings or adventures, esp. when filled with notable experiences, hardships, etc. " Yeah that's what we're about. I'm prettyy sure if we lived a gajillion years ago, we would have married Lewis and Clark cause adventure is our middle name ( and we soo would have found the Rockies sooner...). In fact, like C said, we're on a little adventure right now. We just drove through the "Welcome to Hartford" tunnel and we, being as smalltown as we are, watched out our window the whole way as if we were on our way to the moon. It was extreme. But yeah so before you lose complete and entire interest in ever reading our blog again because it's longer than the Declaration of Independence, I'll wrap it up. Stay tuned for more. It'll be epic ( it seemed like that line should go at the end of our blog post....) :)
